DMCA Policy

Video Library respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement that are reported to our designated copyright agent.

DMCA Takedown Procedure

If you believe that content on our site infringes your copyright, please send a written notification containing the following information:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright that has been allegedly infringed;
  2. Identification of the copyrighted works claimed to have been infringed;
  3. Identification of the content that is claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to permit Video Library to locate the material;
  4. Information reasonably sufficient to permit Video Library to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an email address;
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
  6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our designated agent containing the following information:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature;
  2. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled;
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification; and
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Video Library may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided notification of the alleged infringement.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the party who submitted the original DMCA notification. The original party will then have 10 business days to notify us that they have filed legal action relating to the allegedly infringing material. If we do not receive such notification within 10 business days, we may restore the material to the site.
